| January 23: The view out of our front windows after a sizeable snow storm. We live on the 4th floor. |

| January 25: Playing with our newly favorite doll. You may be familiar with Maya's love of baby dolls, but this is the first time we can remember her playing with an older one. |

| January 25: Playing with playdough. The lighter pink stuff we made ourselves (Maya did most of the measuring and mixing, of course). |

| January 28: Grandma knitted a scarf for Maya that she was quite taken with. | |

| February 4: Maya came home from school today looking like this. All the kids had been pretending they were jungle animals, some with stripes and some with spots. |
