| December 10: After we got home from school/work, Maya wanted to listen to music all by herself, without her father knowing what she was listening to. |

| December 11: The Stone Zoo (in Stoneham, MA) has Christmas lights up, and we went up to check them out. Maya had a good time, especially on the tiny train. |

| December 12: We went cookie decorating at Lucy's grandmother's house (Lucy is Maya's friend from pre-school). Here, Maya and her friend Gigi are busy slathering a couple cookies. They spent most of the time running around with the other kids, with each of the girls simultaneously bossing everyone else. |
