These photos are all from May 8, while Grandma was in town and papa had returned to Boston.

| We took a walk to the park, carefully climbing the fence for part of the trip. |

| We stopped by all the flowers. |

| Maya swung from the rings (I am not holding on to her), and went down the slide. | |

| Then we rode in and on the car. |
 |
| And we took a short spin on the tire swing. |
 |
| Finally, we were spent, so we went home and took naps. We checked in on Maya in the midst of her nap, and we found her like this. |

| Later in the evening, Grandma, Maya, and her parents took a Duck Tour: they drive you around downtown Boston and environs in an amphibious vehicle, then hop into the Charles for a spin around the river. While we were in the water, Maya got a chance to drive. She was quite determined and gripped the wheel very tightly to make sure the real driver didn't mess things up. |
